I would like to use ostrich leg for a wallet, but I notice the large scales separate from the rest of the skin. Should these be glued back down? I cant imagine that a wallet will wear well if the scales separate like they do .

Hmm...the large scales shouldn't separate people often use ostrich leg to make wallets. can you post a pic?
