Hello! I have a question regarding gluing lining to outer leather, as you mentioned applying glue only at the edges. I was working on a clutch, and my outer leather is a very stiff calf (1.6mm) and the lining - 0.5 mm goat leather. Gluing the panels at the edges didn't work at all, even though I was trying to keep the round shape. It caused these awful wrinkles on the lining. In the end, I had to glue both panels thoroughly while keeping the shape to avoid wrinkles. It worked, and the result is flawless, but I see how tricky this process can be.
I was wondering if you could give us some tips on applying glue only at the edges (Why it didn't work in my case?). Also, what is the best method to keep the shape - right now, I am using the cylinder shape with 10 cm diameter you recommended for a card wallet and a nice round edge of my kitchen countertop lol, but I am not sure how far I can go with this intuitive approach. LOL
Thank you for your awesome courses!
