I have been following Peter for about a year and his work was an inspiration from the get-go. I remember before he was on his way to his vacation last year he made a few cardholders and instantly sold them. The fact that it seems simple enough to make encouraged me to make my own. Result? disaster. I could not make the exact same thing at the same quality. Fast forward, took this course, and had my second attempt at making his cardholder. Result? WTH? that simple?
To understand the structure and sizes and proportions better, I decided to make 10 different cardholders, with various thickness and leather type.
So here is my progress, keep in mind they are not finished yet:
love the work and the subtle colors
Nice Job on the Pink Burgundy one! I go crazy for tight grains on Chevre! I am guessing its not Sully because I rarely see such tight grain on Sully, unless its really close to the butt. Correct me if I am wrong!
These are beautiful Alex😊.
Here is an update on the wallets:
I think for the next wallet, the Orange thread will be M40 instead of M30
So great to hear this kind of feedback :-) Wallets are looking great Alex!
Hey Alex, I get it completely. It's amazing the progress you can make with the proper instruction. The wallets looks great, do you have any photos of the originals?? Lol
