It’s one thing to search YouTube for what you want to make and learn there, it’s another to ask a master crafter to explain the process in the correct way to you.
one year of searching YouTube for various techniques and found literally everything to be affecting your learning journey in a negative way. Correcting bad habits is more difficult than you think.
So I suggest we all list the things we want to learn allowing Peter to organize a roadmap and courses for our learning for the next few years.
what do you want to learn or make? what skills are you missing? What projects you want to do and find challengiby?

Hi. I agree that it would be important to see the entire process of an average bag that Peter makes and always puts on Instagram. Especially the manufacture and assembly of linings and pockets that I believe is one of the main parts when making a bag.
- Construction of pockets; interior & outside pockets
- Different types of handles
- Pattern making; where to think off & do you all draw the places of the pricking irons on your plans? I'm used of sewing by machine, but I want to learn the saddle stitching as well
-Exotic leather belts -Toiletry bags/wash bags 👍🏻
- Rolled handles (the ones that are not directly attached to the bag but to hardware instead) - Reinforcement constructions for bags (how to correctly reinforce and connect the bottom + front and back panels etc) - tutorial on lining bags correctly, maybe also interior details with pockets
Oh also setting up the bell skiver and skiving techniques for skiving the expensive leather and exotic products so that we can reduce wastage of our expensive products. Thank you 😊.
Hi this’s a wonderful idea. 1. The difference between cheaper leather products and expensive leather products. 2. The difference between cheap hardware and expensive hardware. 3. The difference between lower end and high end leather products. I have found working with the more expensive leather products yields much better results. Also I believe this will help me price accordingly.
Sounds like a good idea...let's hear it!
